What does the GLSC do?

In order to fulfill our mission, the ultimate function of the Greater Louisville Sports Commission is twofold:

1. To establish on-going relationships with National Governing Bodies of sports, event rights holders, sports groups and local sport entities in order to market Louisville as a desirable destination to attract and hold first class major sporting events.

2. To ensure that appropriate marketing, organizational, administrative, and volunteer support systems are in place to enhance the ultimate success of these sporting events.
