After 143 Kentucky Derbys, Louisville Knows Sports

The 11th Annual Derby City Cup will consist of approximately 15 sanctioned races that showcase cyclists competing at the elite, masters and youth levels. A total of four Category 1 and Category 2 races assigned by the Union Cycliste Internationale and USA Cycling, the respective international and domestic sanctioning bodies, will be held during the two days.

The World Spirit Federation is bringing its 2017 Cheer & Dance Championships to Louisville. The event will be held at the Kentucky Expo Center in the East Hall, North Wing, South Wing A and Freedom Hall.

More than 1,000 amateur BMX riders are expected to participate in the USA BMX Bluegrass Nationals. Speeding on bicycles, racers aged from  2-to-70-years-old will jump dirt ramps and navigate obstacles in an action-packed sprint to the finish line.
