After 150 Kentucky Derbys, Louisville Knows Sports

Winners Announced for the Norton Sports Health 4-Miler

Louisville, Ky. – Oct. 1, 2024 – With nearly 750 registered participants, the Norton Sports Health 4-Miler went off Monday evening under cloudy conditions. The race was held in Iroquois Park with a course that took race participants through the Jack O’Lantern Spectacular trail after crossing the finish line.

Thomas Gaines of Sellersburg, Ind., won the men’s division in a time of 22:41.63, ahead of second-place finisher Seth Snyder-Hayes of Louisville, Ky., who clocked a time 23:56.84. Tavi Walace of Louisville, Ky., won the women’s division in 25:14.30 beating Meghan Brennan of New Albany, Ind., who finished in 26:21.60. Brandon Finch of Brandenburg, Ky., won the non-binary division with a time of 28:09.12.

MEN’S DIVISION

  • First Place: Thomas Gaines, Sellersburg, Ind., with a time of 22:41.63
  • Second Place: Seth Snider-Hayes, Louisville, Ky., with a time of 23:56.84
  • Third Place: Corey Dennison, Louisville, Ky., with a time of 24:38.98

WOMEN’S DIVISION

  • First Place: Tavi Wallace, Louisville, Ky., with a time of 25:14.30
  • Second Place: Meghan Brennan, New Albany, Ind., with a time of 26:21.60
  • Third Place: Julia Buechler, Louisville, Ky., with a time of 26:48.54
