Winners Announced for 2024 Urban Bourbon Half Marathon
Louisville, Ky. – Oct. 12, 2024 – With nearly 2,400 registered participants, the Louisville Sports Commission’s Urban Bourbon Half Marathon went off this morning under cool, clear skies at race start.
Ali Faraji-Tajrishi of Louisville, Ky., won the men’s division in a time of 1:14.09, edging second-place finisher Andrew Precise of Birmingham, Ala., who clocked a time of 1:16.51.
Caroline Gosser of Louisville, Ky., won the women’s division in 1:19.04, ahead of second-place finisher Tera Moody Knott of Bargersville, Ind., who finished in 1:22.30.
Sarah Holland of Reston, Va., won the non-binary division with a time of 1:57.33.
The top finishers in the 2024 Urban Bourbon Half Marathon:
MEN’S DIVISION
- First Place: Ali Faraji-Tajrishi of Louisville, Ky., with a time of 1:14.09
- Second Place: Andrew Precise of Birmingham, Ala., with a time of 1:16.51
- Third Place: Bailey Acord of Floyds Knobs, Ind., with a time of 1:18.26
WOMEN’S DIVISION
- First Place: Caroline Gosser of Louisville, Ky., with a time of 1:19.04
- Second Place: Tera Moody Knott of Bargersville, Ind., with a time of 1:22.30
- Third Place: Meghan Brennan of New Albany, Ind., with a time of 1:26.14
