Black Tie Boxing Event featuring Pro Debut of Pryce Sparrow
March 25, 2025 – Louisville, Ky. – Roy Jones Jr., in association with Sparrow Boxing Club, announced today its six-card inaugural Fight Night on Sat., April 19, 2025, at The Gillespie in downtown Louisville. The black-tie event will be headlined by Radcliffe, Ky., boxer Pryce Sparrow, who will make his professional boxing debut.
Roy Jones Jr., considered by many to be one of the greatest boxers of all time having held multiple world championships in four weight classes, is excited to introduce boxing fans to an evening showcasing six highly competitive amateur and professional bouts.
“I am proud to be part of this black-tie boxing event where those in attendance will see talented, fearless fighters ready to make their mark – in particular Pryce Sparrow, who is poised to take his career to the next level,” said Jones. “Hosting the event at The Gillespie provides fans the opportunity to watch highly competitive athletes in an intimate, elegant setting.”
Pryce Sparrow’s path to making his pro debut began when he first stepped into the ring at age nine. As an amateur, he completed more than 100 fights with more than 70 wins, including a national ringside tournament, junior golden glove under the NLA Boxing organization, and recently was crowned national champion for his age group at the NLA Boxing’s King of the Jungle event in Michigan.

Doors open on April 19 at 6 p.m.; the first bell is at 7 p.m. Ticket prices range from $75 to $450. They can be purchased online HERE and at the door.
