Louisville, KY – Monday, October 12, 2015 – Tyler Ervin (San Jose State) and Reggie Davis (Georgia) combined for 493 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns as each touched the ball three different ways on offense and special teams, exemplifying their versatility on the field to earn the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll in week six of the season.

The Paul Hornung Award, presented by Texas Roadhouse, is awarded annually to the most versatile player in major college football. The winner and his family will be honored on February 25, 2016, at a banquet presented by KentuckyOne Health at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville, Ky.

Louisville, KY – Monday, October 5, 2015 – Christian McCaffrey (Stanford) and KaVontae Turpin (TCU) helped their teams to wins over conference foes and a spot atop their respective conference standings as they earned the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll in week five of the season. The two combined for 442 all-purpose yards, five touchdowns and each touched the ball four different ways, exemplifying their versatility on the field.

Five Players Playing Five Different Positions Make Hornung Award Honor Roll

Louisville, KY – Monday, September 28, 2015 – Three offensive skill players and two defenders who contribute on offense and special teams earned the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll exemplifying their versatility on the field. The five combined for 1,270 all-purpose yards and accounted for seven TDs and a PAT three different ways – receiving, rushing and passing. Quarterback Trevone Boykin (TCU), cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (USC) and wide receiver Christian Kirk (Texas A&M) are newcomers to the Honor Roll, while running back Christian McCaffrey (Stanford) and defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche (Ole Miss) made the list for the second time this season. All five played big roles in their teams’ conference victories over the weekend.

Louisville, KY – Monday, September 21, 2015 – Three offensive skill players and one defensive back combined for almost 800 all-purpose yards and scored TDs three different ways – receiving, punt return and passing – to earn the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll exemplifying their versatility on the field. Wide receivers Jakeen Grant (Texas Tech), Ryan Switzer (North Carolina) and running back Christian McCaffrey (Stanford) are newcomers to the Honor Roll, while defensive back William Likely (Maryland) made the list for the second time this season.
