Trio Comes Through with Big Scoring Plays to Help Teams Win Important Conference Games
Louisville, Ky. – Oct. 19, 2020 – Three offensive players / return specialists who touched the ball a combined 54 times for four touchdowns and helped their teams to big conference wins earned the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll this past weekend: running back Khalil Herbert from Virginia Tech, running back CJ Marable from Coastal Carolina, and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle from Alabama.

Three Seniors and a True Freshman Earn Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll
Louisville, Ky. – Oct. 12, 2020 – Four skill position players who double as return specialists earned the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll this past weekend by combining for 963 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns, helping their teams to wild offensive shootout wins: Auburn running back Tank Bigsby, North Carolina running back Michael Carter, Alabama wide receiver Devonta Smith and Houston wide receiver Marquez Stevenson.

Louisville, Ky. – Oct. 5, 2020 – Two running backs and a wide receiver who also handle punt and kickoff returns were named to the weekly Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll: UCF running back/receiver Otis Anderson, Coastal Carolina running back CJ Marable and Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
The Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse, now in its 11th season, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football by the Louisville Sports Commission and football legend and Louisville native Paul Hornung. The winner and his family will be honored at the annual Paul Hornung Award dinner at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville in March 2021.
