Paul Hornung Award Week One Honor Roll

Louisville, KY – Tuesday, September 2, 2014 – Four players – two on offense and two on defense – who provided game-changing plays have been named to the Paul Hornung Award Weekly Honor Roll for the opening week of the 2014 season. The weekly recognition honors versatile, single-game performances around the nation by FBS student-athletes.

The Paul Hornung Award, presented by Texas Roadhouse, is awarded annually to the most versatile player in major college football. The winner and his family will be honored in late January 2015 at a banquet presented by KentuckyOne Health at the Galt House Hotel and Suites in downtown Louisville.

Duo Accounts for Critical Scores as Teams Notch Important Conference Victories

Louisville, Ky. – October 21, 2013 – A duo from opposite ends of the country demonstrated versatility scoring and big-game prowess to earn Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll selection in week eight of the college football season. Michael Campanaro of Wake Forest threw for a touchdown and caught a TD pass as the Demon Deacons beat Maryland to move into third place in the ACC’s Atlantic Division. Arizona State’s Marion Grice scored three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving, as the Sun Devils extended their lead in the Pac-12 South with a win over Washington.
