Award Given to MVP on Winning Team in Annual UofL vs UK Kentucky Governor’s Cup
Louisville, Ky. – Nov. 26, 2022 – Kentucky senior placekicker Matt Ruffalo was perfect on the night, kicking two extra points and a career-high four fields goals, including what proved to be the game-winner, to earn the 2022 Howard Schnellenberger MVP Award in UK’s 26-13 win over Louisville at Kroger Field in Lexington.

Patrone has more than 25 years of experience in the sports travel industry and is a Certified Sports Event Executive, a designation awarded by Sports ETA, the sports tourism industry’s national association.

Louisville, Ky. – Oct. 1, 2022 – West Virginia phenom Ceili McCabe broke her own course record winning the women’s featured Gold race at the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic, the nation’s largest college cross country meet held today at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park.

Louisville, Ky. – Oct. 1, 2022 – With more than 300 registered participants, the Norton Sports Health 8K went off this morning under cool, mostly sunny conditions. The race was held in The Parklands of Floyds Fork.
Aaron Osborne of Bowling Green, Ky., won the men’s division in a time of 26:57.82, ahead of second-place finisher Seth Snider-Hayes of Louisville, Ky., who clocked a time 28:59.09. Carrie Jewkes of Louisville, Ky., won the women’s division in 35:40.85 beating Whitney Mueller of Louisville, Ky., who finished in 36:52.49.

Event on Track to be the Largest College Cross Country Meet in the Country in 2022
Wrap Around Event Features Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High School Races
Louisville, Ky. – Sept. 26, 2022 – The Louisville Sports Commission (LSC) will host 140 colleges and universities from 24 states at the 21st Annual Live in Lou Cross Country Classic on Sat., Oct. 1 at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park (Sawyer). The Live in Lou Classic is tracking to be the nation’s largest college meet this season, attracting 2,400 athletes representing more than 250 teams from many of the top college cross country programs in the nation.
