Paul Hornung Award Finalists Lead Teams in Regular Season Finales

Louisville, Ky. – November 24, 2015 – The four finalists for the Paul Hornung Award, presented by Texas Roadhouse, all demonstrated their versatility last weekend and again will put their talents on display this Saturday in important conference games. Adoree’ Jackson (Southern Cal), Christian McCaffrey (Stanford), Robert Nkemdiche (Ole Miss) and Jabrill Peppers (Michigan) all are expected to play a major role in their team’s regular season finale.

Louisville, Ky. – Thursday, November 19, 2015 – Three defensive stars who provide their teams offensive energy and a workhorse all-purpose offensive back have been named finalists for the sixth annual Paul Hornung Award, presented by Texas Roadhouse and  given to the most versatile player in major college football. The four players – Adoree’ Jackson (Southern Cal), Robert Nkemdiche (Ole Miss), Christian McCaffrey (Stanford) and Jabrill Peppers (Michigan) represent power conferences Pac-12, SEC and Big Ten.

Trio From Pac 12, ACC Earn Honor Roll for Second Consecutive Week

Louisville, Ky. – November 16, 2015 – Christian McCaffrey (Stanford), Charles Nelson (Oregon) and Jordan Whitehead (Pitt) earned the Paul Hornung Award Honor Role for the second consecutive week following tough conference games with post-season implications. Whitehead made the list for the second time overall, Nelson for the third time while McCaffrey made the list for the seventh time. Also, Michigan’s Jabrill Peppers was awarded Honor Role status for his performances in several games earlier in the season.

Trio of Two-Way Players, Wide Receiver and Running Back Earn Honor Roll

Louisville, Ky. – Monday, November 9, 2015 – Adoree’ Jackson from USC, Charles Nelson from Oregon, Christian McCaffrey from Stanford and KaVonte Turpin from TCU all return to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll after making big plays on offense, defense and special teams in week 10 of the college football season. Pittsburgh’s Jordan Whitehead earned his first Honor Roll selection after scoring two rushing touchdowns and leading the Panthers in tackles against Notre Dame.

Pair of Two-Way Players and a Wide Receiver Earn Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll

Louisville, Ky. – Monday, November 2, 2015 – Jakeem Grant (Texas Tech), Adoree’ Jackson (USC) and Charles Nelson (Oregon) combined for 612 all-purpose yards and scored three different ways in hard-fought conference games as each player earned the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll.

The Paul Hornung Award, presented by Texas Roadhouse, is awarded annually to the most versatile player in major college football. The winner and his family will be honored on February 25, 2016, at a banquet presented by KentuckyOne Health at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville, Ky.
